Understanding the conversion rates, along with some handy tools for converting those USD to Euros, is key.

    You get paid in US dollars. Your landlord gets paid in Euros. If you’re like most Americans who are here working on behalf of the US government or maybe you’re like me, a retired ex-pat.

    I’ve come to find that the banks most of us Americans use while overseas aren’t necessarily the best at helping us make the most of our money.
